HAPPY PIGS
NATURAL HABITAT
Our pigs live in complete freedom in their natural habitat: the dehesa, a precious ecosystem halfway between Mediterranean forest and meadow, where each pig enjoys 3 hectares just for itself.

ACORNS AND GRASS
An antioxidant that helps eliminate free radicals responsible for aging
Which influence blood cholesterol levels. They help reduce 'LDL' (bad) cholesterol and increase 'HDL' (good) cholesterol
A flavonoid known for its high antioxidant activity.
Joselito pigs graze freely in the dehesa, feeding on the natural grass that grows in the fields. Grass is a great source of protein and also of Vitamin E, which is absorbed and accumulated in Joselito pigs.

Acorns contain a high level of monounsaturated fatty acids that influence blood cholesterol levels. They help reduce 'LDL' (bad) cholesterol and increase 'HDL' (good) cholesterol. They are also a source of Vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps eliminate free radicals responsible for aging. The ability of this vitamin to protect cell membranes and prevent their oxidation gives it preventive properties against many degenerative diseases that appear as we age; for example, it is used in the prevention of Parkinson’s disease.
Acorns also contain a flavonoid called quercetin, which is notable for its high antioxidant activity.
